No, we're talking about the update that was promised to come on the 15th. Lo and behold, it's the 18th, and still no sign.

What I would like to see:
- Nerf Oath Shot (increase recharge or penalty for missing)
- Beef up a lot of ele skills (firestorm, searing heat, etc, etc, still suck)
- Chaos Storm is still a joke.
- Beef up a couple of warrior elites. When was the last time you've seen someone use something other than Eviscerate?
- Nerf channeling. Probably increase casting time and cost, so monks have to invest a bit to have their unlimited enegry.
- Nerf keystone signet. I don't think this needs an explanation.
...and NERF IWAY!!!!
j/k, I would actually like IWAY to stay as it is, because if it becomes even worse, people might stop playing it and the first 3 arenas of HA will stop giving free fame. :P

1. Maybe it needs a nerf...maybe.
2. dunno. most fire is overbalanced atm because it was balanced out with the new factions skills.
3. Yes
4. I'll be using the elite Shove once factions comes out
5. Standing in the middle of a pile of enemies isn't investing enough?
6. Actually I might need an explanation for this. I didn't actually know people used that elite...
EDIT: Oops, I overlooked the Chaos Storm comment.

Oath Shot is fine, if anything spirit spam needs a nerf, it's the spirits.. somehow..

Meh, firestorm still wont be used due to MS being better..

sounds about right..

Ehh, Cleave is ok, i guess, could use a little buff, sword elites are pretty much fine..

Have you ever played a monk? Channeling is probably the worst energy management for a monk. Not fun at all, the actual range for channeling is pretty tight. (How far you can be from enemies to get the energy..)

Yeah, sounds about right...
To be honest, i think the biggest nerf needs to go to e-denial. It's too easy to spam..

I was wondering the same thing. They initially said the 15th, then in-game, Gaile corrected this to the 17th. However..... thursday looks likely i.m.o.

I wouldn't be surprised if the update was today. We just saw the ladder change, and they've probably got everything fine-tuned from the last of the matches. This evening, American time, around 8-9 PM EST is when I expect them to launch the balances.
Call me crazy for such a pinpoint prediction, but I'm guessing sometime today or early tomorrow.

So, to summarize a majority of posts in a single statement... nerf skills that hurt my favorite builds and buff the one's I use.
Sigh...

I think Oath Shot is ok. I mean - if you have a dedicated Spirit Spammer - you are basically going 7 against 8 for the rest of the matches (except for the necro energy engine builds)

Agreed - this has been covered in a bunch of different threads - but Ele damage basically sucks. I think it could be balanced out by making the AoE cover larger areas (and perhaps help out on some of the casting times)

Uh, yeah. I think 'Nearby' or 'In The Area' would at least give this spell a use. Kind of a variation on Maelstrom - very cool if it affected a large enough area.

You're on the wrong track here - warriors are powerful enough. Eviscerate needs a nerf to bring it in line with the rest of the warrior elites. (except for Skull Crack - I'm still scratching my head on that one)

Chanelling is a bit powerful in Heroes Ascent - but unfortunately Monks have no other options against edenial. I think Monks need more energy management options before you talk about nerfing channelling

Hmmm, I sense sarcasm.... Actually Keystone Signet is great in a couple of builds - and once Factions arrives (with all of the new signets) I think it may be awesome.

Exactly. The only thing that needs to be nerfed is the damn nerf stick.

Errr that makes no sense. Why would it be useless just because Factions is on the way? You think the skills balance themselves with a new Chapter? Think about it.
